Terms of service
Last updated 12 August 2026
These terms govern use of GodsEye RMM, provided by [COMPANY NAME] ("we"). By using the service you agree to them. Where a signed agreement exists between us, that agreement takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.
The service
GodsEye RMM monitors and manages Windows computers: it inventories installed software, applies operating-system and application updates, reports on security posture and known vulnerabilities, installs and removes software, and stores BitLocker recovery keys on behalf of the managing organisation.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accounts in your organisation: who holds one, what role they are given, and keeping their credentials secure. Roles are meaningful — an administrator can delete a device and everything recorded about it, including its recovery keys, and that cannot be undone. Grant the least role that does the job, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Your responsibilities
- Install the agent only on computers you own or are authorised to manage. The agent runs with full system privileges by design; installing it on a computer you do not control may be unlawful.
- Tell the people who use those computers that they are managed, and what is collected. Our privacy notice describes it and may be shared with them.
- Do not use the service to access, alter or disrupt systems without authorisation.
- Keep your own backups. This service is not a backup service.
Patching and automation
The service installs software and restarts computers according to the policies you configure. You choose those policies, and you are responsible for the consequences of them — including updates that a vendor ships broken, and restarts that occur inside a window you set. We provide maintenance windows, version holds and exclusions so you can control this; using them is your decision.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. Except where a separate agreement sets a service level, the service is provided [WARRANTY / SLA POSITION].
Liability
[LIABILITY POSITION — cap, exclusions, and the carve-outs that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.]
Suspension and termination
Either of us may end the arrangement on [NOTICE PERIOD]. We may suspend access immediately where use of the service threatens its security or that of other customers. On termination, export what you need first: data is deleted in line with the privacy notice, and deletion of a device is immediate and irreversible.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to account holders. The date above shows the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
